Irrigation maintenance at Sitari Lifestyle Estate

TMI’s April 2024 maintenance programme covered inspection and servicing of the estate’s irrigation infrastructure in the Western Cape.

Maintenance scope

  • Pump-house inspections covering Grundfos booster pumps, sump and transfer pumping.
  • Checks and service work on self-flushing filtration, isolation valves and non-return valves.
  • Variable-speed drive, control-panel, touch-screen and switch inspections.
  • Controller and decoder communication and continuity checks.
  • Inspection, cleaning and repair of lateral lines, control valves and sprinklers, including Rain Bird shrub gear-drive sprinklers.
  • Pump-station metering and reservoir foot-valve checks.

This case study covers the maintenance activities recorded in April 2024. Measured water savings and performance improvements are not included in these results.
