Project record

TMI’s May 2023 tender record documented the proposed automatic irrigation scope for Pretoria Country Club. The project was completed in October 2025, as confirmed by TMI.

Documented proposed scope

  • Irrigation coverage for 18 holes and practice facilities.
  • Water supply from an irrigation lake through a central pump station.
  • A computerised central controller in the superintendent’s office, linked to a weather station and field satellites.
  • Valve-in-head, top-serviceable rotors for fairways, rough and greens, with back-to-back sprinkler positioning around greens.
  • Quick-coupling valves for supplementary hand watering.
  • Isolation at each hole and on lateral lines, together with pressure regulation, pipework, valves and fittings.
  • Design, supply, installation and commissioning requirements within the proposed works.

Evidence status

The May 2023 record supports the proposed scope, while TMI confirms completion in October 2025. Specific commissioned equipment, measured performance, savings, coverage outcomes, client endorsement and exact as-built scope remain subject to completion or commissioning records.
